I know you are right but I do not understand the hesitation behind it. They can still keep the umps behind the plate to do other umpire shit, just take the balls and strikes away from them.
Was wondering wtf at first. Watched again and Profar was flat footed and almost on the track. It was a good gamble by Taylor and a great throw by Profar. Yu is the gift that keeps on giving. Shits himself in Game 7 and against the Giants earlier this year, then shoves it up the Dodgers' asses.
Thinking back on that game, reallly twittered away, imo, after a nice late comeback, considering MooKKKKie, JT, and Muncy, what were they combined at the plate ? Like 0-11 or 12 ? Hard to win with those " key" players just not in the offense at all. Not an iota. AWOL. And, not taking anything away from TT, but that runs scoring double was kinda botched out there by Profar...but he sure made up for it.
i think they said it was his third assist in the last three games or something don't know much about profar or his arm but clearly he must be decent then to see the mads come up and just bunt the winner over its only one game and CT will win a lot more than he loses but that gamble lost i was wondering why no one raised interference by manny standing right in the basepath
Dave, I think it's okay to drop Turner out of the 4 spot at this point. Dude looks bad and I'm pretty sure someone else here said it, but this could be the fall off year for him.

JT and Muncy look awful, but that defensive play against CT was pretty good. Got to give the Madres credit. They executed when they needed to. BTW, it wouldn’t kill to bunt now and then.
