the Dodgers should be up 2-0 right now if they paid more attention to their signals..just as they made a point to do tonight. that's it and that's all. they don't need to get into a beanball war and least of all get into a brawl..that's ridiculous. like i said, usually the offending team gets squeezed by the umps.

you mentioned the brawl from last year and said it sparked us..why the hell else would you mention it right now if you didn't believe they needed it?

that was no " almost brawl " yesterday..that was benches clearing and that's it. AGon and Yadi were restrained and AGon himself didn't even make an aggressive move at all. do you even know how brawls start? hint: fists usually fly.

you start plunking people and you can't control the situation. fuck inciting potential suspensions in the playoffs.

yea and i wanna thank Ellis for helpin his pitcher out tonight. the couple of times that the Cards did make it to 2B tonight, Ellis wasted no time calling for time, walkin to the mound and switching up the signals with Greinke.

Yep and the attention to the signals helped thru the 7th this time yet the bullpen nearly blew it again. And again you're wrong. The offending team doesn't get squeezed. Kershaw hits a guy purposely or not after a warning, he's gone. If wainwright can't pitch inside without hitting someone then that's his issue. Kershaw did it just fine as you pointed out.

I mentioned the brawl because it did provide a spark just like the "near brawl" last night. What happened right after? The team started scoring runs and took a lead until Kershaw gave it up. If AGon were more aggressive last night there would have been a brawl. Molina said as much.

I'm done arguing with you in the game thread. If you still have the urge feel free to message me. I'll gladly respond

benches clearing after we get plunked? OK
    brawl? Not OK.
inciting a beanball war, possibly getting key players injured or suspended in the playoffs? Not OK.

i don't know what else to tell you. the plan should be to play ball and let the umps handle the nonsense because these are situations that can't really be controlled. do gladly respond..i don't know what that means, but go ahead and tell me how inciting a near uncontrollable situation is ideal for this baseball team..

Fuck yes, fellas! Series tied! We are practically in the same position as before last night's debacle, Minus home-field advantage and Kershaw coming up. We have a few question marks coming up at starting pitcher but we just have to have a lead after the 9th in one of these next two games. Then it's back to LA for some cold served Kershaw vengeance. :fingerscrossed:

you have to give it to him. and Puig was probably already in try hard-mode because of the way last night ended.

    Bigger NLDS HR: Uribe's 2013 or Kemp's 2014?

    I'll say Kemp's

what exactly was i wrong about? do you know what i mean by " squeezed "? i mean anything close inside, umps callin it a ball. that's what i mean..not " squeezed " as in the ump only tosses out the offending club's pitcher..that's not even " squeezed ". Lol we weren't even talkin about who gets tossed after warnings. smh

the idea is to own the inside of the plate and do so effectively..that means getting strikes. umps hardly ever favor the offending team with the strike zone and again, the narrative's been written between these two teams. Dodgers are in good standing.

I happened to walk into a restaurant for the exact second Carpenter hit the HR. Was doing my best to avoid the game. Luckily we didn't end up eating there.
