Very few of US, not the baseball world expect us to be in the WS.

Well, yes, you are most likely correct.
As it has been so, multiple times in the past...so WE would seem to know more that" the bb world", eh?.

love how "expected" is based on pure speculation by people not in the know
would be like me writing a "Dodgers not expected to win ever again" based on our [myself included] posts here lol

Dodgers expected to pursue top starter at Trade Deadline
by Matthew Moreno | Dodger Blue — 2 hours ago

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitchers have combined to enter play Saturday leading the Majors with a 3.46 ERA. That’s in spite of Rich Hill not yet finding any sort of consistency, and Kenta Maeda and Hyun-Jin Ryu going through stretches of poor starts.

Clayton Kershaw continues to lead the rotation, with aid from Brandon McCarthy and Alex Wood. McCarthy and Wood have both spent time on the disabled list this season, with Wood set to return Saturday from inflammation in his left SC joint.

While the Dodgers have an excess of starting pitchers, and a staff that sports an MLB-best 3.14 ERA, the expectation is Los Angeles will look to acquire pitching at the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.

According to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe, some believe that will entail pursuing the likes of Chris Archer and other top starting pitchers:

"Most talent evaluators think the Dodgers will make a play for the top available starter, whether it be Ervin Santana, Jeremy Hellickson, Chris Archer, or someone else."

Los Angeles was linked to Archer and Chris Sale in the weeks leading up to the trade deadline last season. But rather than gut their farm system, the Dodgers found a more suitable option in Hill, who was acquired in a trade that also included Josh Reddick.

Whether the Dodgers will part with the top-tier prospects that presumably would need to be included for a premier starting pitcher is unlikely.

i cannot anticipate a ws appearance until we get there

When Grandal hit that HR at home in game 3 against the Cubs, I thought "oh my God, we are gonna go to the World Series". Nope. Teased.

Lol That Forsythe pic is about as small as Forsythe's performance thus far
He seems to have a jinx going
He had Toles as his avatar before this Forsythe one and we know what happened there

    This cracked me up

I have to admit, I have a lot of faith in Forsythe and think he will have some huge hits for us this year. But so far he's looked like Dodgers-era Gay Hillenbrand.

I have more faith in Swedens immigration policies than I do in Forsythe.

I have a friend in FL who knows baseball that told me I would love Forsythe...he was absolutely right about the FO and how they would do things...but I don't see a great talent in Forsythe. Not yet. It's like you have to force yourself to feel that it was a slick move to get him, like he was when he did this or that. Sort of like Hill.
JSure don't love what he brings at all.
Some of his ABs are downright bush, imo.
