    Some improvement from Cat Man, but anything would be an improvement over his recent outings. Main thing is they got some innings out of him.

    Had to cover my eyes when Vesia was brought into face Ohtani. Three pitches later........sayonara.

    Nice to see Will get his shit together. He'd been pretty blah for a while now.

    imo vargas should be sent down
    too many holes in that big loopy swing
    needs to shorten up, otherwise he’ll forever be dead against any fastball above belt high

    I agree. What is odd though, that he hasn't adopted a different swing or approach from earlier in the season, and was making pretty good contact. I remember, not so long ago, watching him and thinking " this kid can hit".
    It must be something not so obvious ( to me, anyway ), but whatever it is, it's making a world of difference, that's for sure.

    the other thing is why did they bring yonny hernandez up if they’re not going to play him
    a month or so ago i wouldn’t have thought i’d say this, but get well soon ct3
    taylor might k a lot but there’s a much better chance he’ll run into something (than vargas of yonny).
