Gallo has faced Lauer twice - 1 for 2, a HR - but I get it, small sample size. What isn't a small sample size is Taylor against Lauer... just 3 for 22. Or JT's 5 for 24. But then again, Gallo has been playing well, so he should sit, according to Daveylogic.
You get thrown out at the plate on an 86 mph throw from the outfield, it's not your fault - it's the base coach's.
I guess it's me...maybe...but Turner ( who was out as Vin would say, "free me to you"), but there was nowhere for JT to get in anywhere on the plate. No path. If it's a rule, it's a fucking rule and should be enforced. Looked blocked to me.
Sure, but there have to be limits to how much you test him. It was an accurate throw but a slow one. If he can be thrown out with that, he shouldn't be going.
I understand that Roberts wants to give CT an opportunity to regain his confidence, but expecting him to do that against a guy he's 3 for 22 against is just moronic.
