One step forward, one step back for Big Red. Showing better against the shitty Marlin and Giant lineups. Not so good against the Dbacks and Pads. Could count the hard hit balls on one hand last night.
May went from being a guy I viewed as a secret weapon to a WS run to someone that might not make the playoff roster.
the dback team is pretty good at the plate not making excuses for us but that's a pretty nice young core
Yeah...not if providence doesn't intercede in his favor...soooon. I think FSU might have mentioned it previously...but May has about as much a clue of where the pitch is going as Kimbrel does at his worst. It's a tough decision, and based on more often than not...could be a total game losing wild man, but if in command any given day, he's unhittable for an inning, or longer... and a roster spot. Maybe it's me, but all these RPs that are down for one reason or another, isn't there an unusual shroud of mystery around them?
Krumbel is proving that the nine hitless innings were a fluke, but I'm glad he's showing it now and not in the playoffs. Offense seems to be mailing it in now. Dangerous to expect they can flip the switch when needed.
