    I've noticed that the last couple of nights. Super bummed about it and hope it isn't permanent.

    Amazing.

    We went 50-21 in the 2nd half and entered the all star break just 2 games back of the Giants.

    50-21 gained us one whole game in the standings. I still can't believe what the Giants did last season. Rooting against that team was one of the most maddening experiences ever

    The thing that really bugs me about Cody is that teams are playing such an extreme shift on him and he's not adjusting his game at all. I think it was last year or two years ago, ONE time I saw him lay down a bunt towards 3B and he made it to first without a throw. With his speed and from the left batting box, it would be so difficult for the one fielder on that side to throw him out. Do that even once per series and teams will have to change their defense alignment, opening up the rest of the field. Just is common sense. I don't understand why he doesn't do it. If his bunting skills are weak, then take extra BP and improve the skill. That's what professionals do.

    the shift is far from his biggest problem. He has a career high strikeout rate, he's hitting balls hard less often, and also has a career low walk rate. He needs to focus on his bat path and swing before where he is aiming it into the shift.

    That flat footed, slappy two strike swing drives me nuts. This guy so mind fucked and has been for too long.

    By all reports he works his ass off in the cage but still produces little. Shame.
