    It'll be fascinating... LA will probably low ball him, but he'll make money from some other team...for sure.
    He looks the greedy sort, I think he's probably gone.

    Before the season, I thought he was pretty much gone no matter what. It seems to be baseball's worst kept secret that Ohtani will be a Dodger next year. Don't see a way we sign both.

    However, I think the struggles this year might help us retain him on a shorter contract. I'm almost positive teams will still give him a contract on what he has been outside of this season, but there could be an outside shot that Boras doesn't like what he sees and Urias comes back on a short term deal. The latter seems HIHGLY unlikely though.

    It's one thing to just randomly have a shitty year but for Julio to be pitching so awful in year 1 of big rule changes for pitchers is going to scare off a lot of teams.

    Not sure if anybody has cost themselves more money than he has this season.
