urias vs anderson
heaney vs fried
gonsolin vs strider
It'd be nice to humble these tomahawk chopping aholes ...
But I get a shitty feeling about this weekend.
team looks ready to break out or get their balls stuffed back down their throats not sure which
should be fun
The Dodgers recalled RHP Reyes Moronta from Triple-A Oklahoma City and placed LHP Andrew Heaney on the injured list with left shoulder inflammation.
Trea Turner is hitting .441 this season when he hits leadoff
Would you switch Trea and Mookie? Trea has looked so comfortable in the leadoff spot and Mookie has been by far our best power hitter.
Absolutely I would. I always wondered about this, why Roberts had Mookie batting leadoff. Unless it's a Mookie request. But TT leading off and Mookie hitting third is the best for the team IMO.
This really sucks. Any update on May or Duffy?
May (elbow) threw 40 pitches during an up-down side session Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
May has progressed smoothly in his rehab over the last several months, and the next step in his recovery process will be to face live hitters. Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday(June 16) that the right-hander will have at least four throwing sessions against live hitters, and the team hopes that he'll be able to build up to four innings by the final session. As long as he fares well against live hitters in the coming weeks, May will likely begin a rehab assignment afterward.
Not much news on Duffy. Sounds like his best chance for returning would be in September which doesn't give me any optimism that we see him at all this season.
Dodgers are -1.5 in Atlanta? Wtf?
I imagine Atl will get lots of late money on them to cover that outright tonight.
And another update on May just minutes ago…great news. Fabian Ardaya-Dustin May faced hitters today in an up-down in Arizona, Dave Roberts said. Sat 98-101 mph, according to the reports
Strange - there's a Duffy update from early May that says he was throwing pain-free and eyeing a June return, but no news since. Then again, that update says the plan is to use him solely as a reliever, so it wouldn't help much with Heaney's absence.
if May can get back and the rest of the guys can hold serve until Buehler and Heaney get back i like our chances
w Trienen on the mend and hopefully a Kahnle type returning the staff looks solid
even Price is getting outs
did i just see FF bawling in front of the ATL press???
Why? Politics or pain?
Nevermind. I just remembered this is his homecoming.
wtg Will gotta get those two runs home
bases loaded no one out twice in this game and lucky to get a run each time that's super fucking lame
Lux gets on and here comes cody strikeout popout w the infield all on the right side
play for a run and have him bunt maybe for a hit but certainly to put a risp?
