Wizards didn't Wiz Always great to see the C's lose Hell of a game, C's can wear all black back to Boston Lol Wall - " Nope..I got too much heart. "..meanwhile James Harden
Nope. All those arrogant Boston comments about closing on someone elses court were shoved down their throats. back to the Gahden

You could find some 3rd string PG like Neto in Utah who plays 5-10 minutes a night and rates pretty well defensively in a particular advanced stat because he comes in with the energy of a man that hasn't had sex in years, sure, and then of course he doesn't defend the opposition's best guards..same for a Delon Wright in Toronto. However, the big minute guys tend to fight fatigue, and that's outside of defending the deepest PG crop maybe the league's ever seen w/o being able to hand-check. It's not easy, and the numbers back it up at that particular position. So if you find a starting caliber small guard that can play big minutes and hover around a 0.0 in DBPM, generally you have a winner. And what you lose in defensive effectiveness with a lot of smaller guards in the half court, you gain by having them pressure the ball full and 3/4's court allowing the defense to set up behind them and forcing the opposition to initiate their offense later in the shot clock. All to say that defensive efficiency stats in basketball don't really shine a light on everything that's going on out there, which their creators admit to. Anyway, hopefully, Pelinka can nab former client Bradley next year if they need a G..don't know how much $ it'd take, but LAL can use all the 2-way talent they can get..they need to start playing some defense. Saw a report that said Pelinka would have a decided advantage with his former clients in FA, hope that's the case if they do need a starting G come 2018. Former client Avery Bradley, thumbs up. Former client James Harden, thumbs down.
http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2017/ That 28th overall pick. If Giles falls that far, Jackson/Giles would be a pretty high upside bundle to come away with, would be happy with that. Grab Josh Jackson at the top and he comes in with immediate Michael Cooper impact potential except he's a bigger guy with more scoring upside, but yeah, a defensive force against all perimeter types, athletic, can pass and handle the ball, hit occasional shots from the outside, fill lanes and get up and down the floor and finish in transition. Giles of course had a disappointing year at Duke, but with coming off multiple ACL/MCL tears in high school it wasn't a big surprise..there's still upside there..#1 ranked high schooler in his class before the last injury
If we end up trading our young wings for Paul George and signing Chris Paul we wont need a PG in the draft and can draft a good 3/D wing.

Trying to be the LAD of the NBA and rebuild while " contending " Lol, C's aren't really contenders tho, IMO I actually like the Top 3 guys in this draft more than I like Marcus Smart, TBH Jaylen Brown VS Josh Jackson is debatable..and Jackson actually said the toughest guy he's had to go against was Brown, so
According to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News, Rudy Tomjanovich and his son, Trey Tomjanovich, are no longer employed by the Los Angeles Lakers. Rudy Tomjanovich was the head coach of the Lakers to start the 2004-05 NBA season after signing a five-year, $30 million deal, but he lasted just 43 games due to health issues. Since that time he's served as a consultant and scout for the team.
Just saw that Gordat wants out of Wash. I hope Laker MGT gets in on this to try to get rid of Mozgov's contract. Mozgov and the Houston Pick or Clarkson for Gordat. It would free up some cash and provide a mentor to Zubac.
Gortat is really good. Might lock us up as being too big of a team with how the Lakers want to play. But I would definately trade the houston pick and clarkson for Gortat.
Gortat turns 34yrs old next year, I'm sure he wants to join a team that's contending or close to it. Besides, 30yr old role player Lou Williams wasn't going to turn LAL into a contender or be around/at the top of his game when LAL was ready to compete again..same goes for Gortat. Clarkson should only be moved in a deal that makes sense from the age/impact perspective. Anyways, fuck that noise..let's win this lottery..leggo Magic man, we need that #1 overall like yesterday
