I want the entire Dodger team to win every award possible, but over the years the Cy Young voting has been a joke (along with gold glove).

Really though, is using Marmot actually wasting a good arm? I just can't buy that...he's a Latino League waiting to happen. he may wind up being devestating to us as long as he's on the roster. League is so predictable now.
He's a guy that gets a team out of a power slump. I wish we could bat against one, cause we sure don't have much....

I didn't think so... but they seem to be playing this one close to the vest after he tangled with the dugout rail the other day.. it looked to me like he was holding his wrist when he came up for air...

DBB ain't saying... so we'll wait until the line up is posted to find out I guess

Yeah I hate losing Kershaw games. The guy gives you a great start 97% of the time. No excuse to lose when he's pitching (especially the number of times we've lost this year with him pitching). Inexcusable.

I haven't read any of the posts here yet...but I have to start my post with: I apologize for Donnie's decision making tonight. We were out late drinking, did some crack and fucked 4 strippers.

Seriously though...the decision to bring in League to face Beltran was a horrible one of epic proportions. I do not fucking get it. I have looked up the stats or anything, but for the life of me I cannot grasp the concept of using League at that moment when howell was rolling along like he was. Just beyond horrific there IMO!

I didn't like the Punto bunt with Uribe at 2B no outs. IF punto gets it down, it's not terrible...but he fucked up, and well it turned out to be yet another of the epic choke jobs of the night.

AJ with the bases loaded is just terrible. I can't understand it at all, he just can't hit with them loaded. He's a catcher and a damn good hitting on at that, so....I can live with it...but it sucks.

Ethier...fuck, this clown is just a mediocre overpaid let down. He was the biggest let down of the night IMO. He had the most chances it seemed and just didn't get it done. He's nothing like he used to be at all!
(And don't tell me AGon or anyone else should've scored on the liner to RF. It was far to low for anyone to get a good jump on that)

And Mark Ellis is in a slump again and batting 2nd vs. RHPs. Time for that to change Don.

I think the Dodgers are 12-12 in Kershaw starts? Well that is incomprehensible! I realize that he matches up against some tough pitchers, but come the fuck on! He pitches more than good enough to win almost every fucking game he starts! Are they laying down when he starts? This trend does not bode well in the postseason when he is surely to get the most starts.

We need Hanley back in the lineup.

IBB: "Yo, Vassegh, I thought League was turning it around? Bkitch."
Vassegh: "He's had 3 or 4 huge appearances the last month. You can't expect him to go out there and pitch a zero every single time. This isn't a video game."

    LOL
    Perfect impression right there IBB!
    He's such an idiot.

Just because we'd like to see the walk% and slugging come back to life a bit for Gonzo (a reasonable question), Vasseh will go off saying you can't hit a HR every night and that RBIs are the most important stat.

OK, listening to Dodgertalk and so Don brought League in to face Carlos Beltran because of the numbers...numbers never lie.
    BA 1.000 vs. Howell
    BA .000 vs. League

LMAO...what this means in reality is
    2-2 vs. Howell
    0-1 vs. League

Brutal. What will he do tomorrow then?
    2-2(1.000) vs. Howell
    1-2 HR(.500) vs. League

Yeah, Don's a dolt. Doesn't make a huge difference either way over 162. The team is responsible. But his matchups are hilarious.

In reality, we looked to be losing that game anyway the way our lineup played...but I hope that Don is learning from these strange matchup motivated moves at least. Curious how much Honeycut weighed in on that one.

The failed Punto bunt too. I'm not that much against the bunt, figuring Punto is not much of a hitter, but still it kills possible rallies. Punto is capable of a single there and he did single later in the game and had a good night last night. I'd let him drive the run in or at least ground out to the rightside and move him anyway.

It was just a shit fest all around. Frustrating game.
If we win tomorrow and lose the next day (or vise versa) it's a success.

Then back to the Ravine where I'll be there making Loney wish he was never born.

In 6 of Kershaw's 7 losses the Dodgers have scored 2 or fewer runs... :headexplode:

If we can't score some runs off POS Westbrook, well, that'd be depressing.

Kershaw should have got his bunt down and he would have been spotted a handy 1-0 lead quite early.
