My only question is where is our pine tar? Shit, it's about that time for any means necessary. Where are we tryin to get the edge during these games? I don't think people understand. The schedule is real. Dodgers have the Cubs and Giants in 6 straight and then back to the road where they've taken much dick this season. These last 3 games is not how you roll into this final stretch.

Fiers is a maybe better than average pitcher...but he has always kind of had our number. But his glove, smeared with all that pine tar (or whatever it was) should be taken into account. Baseball has finally admitted it does get things wrong, with the advent of replay challenge. Finally. But when there is photographic evidence of an illegal substance being used, then something should at least be discussed.
You hear all the time that life isn't fair...but a game should be...as fair as possible. But like was written already, they won't change it or do a thing.
How can they let this stand, when a guy like Gallaraga loses what he did on an obvious and admitted blown call with tears and all that shit?
Unfortunately there is nothing they can do...there is no right or wrong anymore...just get away with it, or get caught. He got away with it this time.
Baseball, with it's "hands tied" stance on matters like this, just perpetrates the new morals... still has no balls, a la Selig.

IDK if pine tar does absolutely nothing to the ball...wouldn't it put a mark on it? That alone would make a difference...and is the ump high on skag or what? They throw 50 balls a night out of play. Does he look at them?
Is pine tar less of a substance for altering the flight of a BB than spit was ?
