    I love when Kaylor walks... best case scenario. But first he swung 3-0 at ball 4, then watched the next one that was over the heart of the plate. He's so screwed up.

    Oh, and now gets picked off. He should have just struck out and saved us all some time.

    Roberts treats the lineup before a getaway gametime as if the team is experiencing a bubonic plague outbreak. Always goes overboard when he should do less, or not enough when he should do more. Wtf?

    I notice that today's game is a local 12:10 start. That brings back memories. I went to a number of these midweek "getaway' games. My Dad bartended six nights a week but took Wednesday off. He'd sign me out of school at St Francus Cabrini and actually tell the nuns he was taking me to a game. They would tell him that most folks just said the kid was sick. "I ain't lying to no nuns..." he'd say. That cracked them up.

    Anyway, I also remember how Vin called these games 'businessman's specials' and how fly balls might get "lost in the shirtsleeves" ... how times have changed.

    Landon Knack SP

    Lineup looks good. Not sure what to expect from Knack. Hopefully offense can get him some runs. Ohtani needs to start hitting with runners on and Freeman needs to start finding more gaps like last year.

    Basically, the Dodgers need to read this board. If they'd been doing that since Scarecrow took over, Utley would be manager, the team would have at least three rings, and Rube would be in charge of the kiddie playground at the stadium.
