I went to games 3 and 4 tonight in Sac. Northwestern vs Boise St was entertaining. UCLA was a blowout. But people I spoke to who went to game 2 said they've never seen a more listless team than the Wildcats, and because of that almost the entire crowd was cheering for Princeton at the end. Serves them right.
UofA lost a couple games earlier this year (Standord, ASU) in exactly the same fashion, where they were well ahead of an inferior team in the second half, thought they had the game won, quit trying and found a way to lose the game. They have multiple top 10 wins, including UCLA twice, but they just couldn't bring the intensity for 40 minutes against bad teams that slow the game down These Wildcats couldn't change their stripes.
Put a little wager on the Bruins to win it all last Thursday. Got 8-1. That was the day before Bona hurt his shoulder.
Asstecs are our chief rival. We've had their number in football, but they've been kicking Bulldog ass in basketball. They're packing their place for hoops and drawing flies for football.
moving the kid to DTLA today because that's where she wants to live... so hoping an early start gets me back to see most of games what a mess the end of the Laker/Mavs game was last night ffs AD single handedly ruined the win for the team w his foul and lack of awareness the sight of mebron in sunglasses on the bench was special what a douche can't wait until he takes his game elsewhere
and leaves the winning shooter wide open doing exactly what??? he took responsibility and i respect that cause his all stat teammate never does but ffs AD meantime... Kansas goes down in a great game! this madness is fucking awesome!
Despite all the insanity, my FF in @huh?'s bracket challenge is somehow alive. Houston vs Uconn, Bama vs Marquette. Houston currently down 5 to Auburn though....
