Heard this yesterday. Evidently, MDs one-year newbie "is an asshole" and MD Prez Mike Brennan lead the charge to fire him. Welp ... Brennan was my boss for 15 years; he's a a huge asshole. So he ought to know. Anyway ...it's a mess and I'm not surprised. MD is a machine but I'd never, ever, EVER send my kid there. It's more toxic than JW Gacy's basement. It's an evil and malignant place and I can't state that strongly enough.
I know few play horses here ... but anyway... I bet $14 total today. I'm small time as a bettor... $2 across on Just Steel $2 to win each on Catalytic & Stronghold. Those last two are tossups. Not great but not bad either. If something opens up on the stretch elbow, horses like these can shoot the gap. I like that 6 horse though. At those odds, it's worth six bucks.
