the good news... we're slashing .500/.583/.875 against tonight's starter garrett the bad news... in 11 plate appearances
Looks like it's Bryan Hoeing (??) going for Miami. No MLB stats for him. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022...rett-on-injured-list-select-bryan-hoeing.html
The results of the last two innings offensively, is why against playoff teams, we will lose. Bases loaded and no outs is nirvana for baseball teams since the sport began... except for the LA Dodgers. Rather, it is death. "Emptiness" ---------Thulsa Doom
Not sure if the Dodger brain trust gave May a soft landing start on purpose, but it certainly worked out. After the shaky first he was unhittable. Almost felt sorry for the Marins' starter making his MLB debut in that atmosphere. Crowd was amped up with free jerseys and May's lights out performance. Needless to say Alcantra will present a bit more of a challenge this afternoon. Pepiot can handle these guys if he throws strikes.
Every fucking pitch is the same mistake over and over again from this kid. Arm side high and outside to LH, inside to RH...It's maddening to watch this kid. Time for a movie.
