    Dave Roberts is an utter fucking clown. Almonte should have been out the second the 9 hitter reached base. He was cooked and everyone knew he was but this dumbfuck let his walk 2 more batters and hit another instead. Now the game is out of reach for no fucking reason

    This team, the Reds, is one of the teams should we make the post and meet them, we will not beat.
    If there was ever a portend of the continuing bridesmaids role in tne post we fill so very, very well, it's how we play against teams like the Reds.

    The five inning start thing isn't sustainable. Trot out four relievers every game and there's going to be some blow-ups.

    That de la whatever his name is, at the top of the Reds lineup, has the same tools as MICKEY MANTLE. What a brilliant observaton...Mickey Mantle. Two peas in a pod.

    Can only assume they are well aware of it, and intend to counter it with an even more lethal offense...hence the signing of additional position players like Rosario and Kike.
    I guess it is a viable method, but when you get lulls in hitting and poor clutch performances, and of course good pitching ( like Montgomery last night), that formula is easily countered.
    Imo, trying to win simply by steamroller offense may eventually get you there, but will be a huge liability in the post season, should we make it. Post pitching is thebest there is...most times.
    Lynn and another RP, no matter what role he played in Dodger lore, are still band aids, with pretty bad numbers, if that''s the measuring stick.
    Not really "fixing the problems". Far from it.
    Not moving any of the kids fits squarely in the category of " the best trade you did not make" to a degree, and bodes well for the future. But doesn't alleviate the problems now.
    We'll see.
    And curiously, does it strike anyone else as other than a quirk that Miller, Stone, Grove and Sheehan sound like members of the Aryan Brotherhood ?

    And it's not going to be that much fun watching teams like the Reds or Dbacks, etc., fly around stealing bases at will with little rainbow off center throws to try and stop them.
