Everything is clicking, it's fun to watch. It's a lot, too late but oh well it is what it is. Still fun to me
looks like they finally snapped out of it. never say die but the cards aren't going to fall apart this late.
Well, lucky fir us they are playing the Nats and then the Reds, two teams playing for the playoffs top spot... And sure we end vs the Gnats, but they wont have anything to prove by then as they dont have a shot at the top seed and might prefer to rest the regulars... We do have a good shot, but we need to win every fucking single game...
Am I the only one that this new found offense completely disgusts? Seriously once the pressure is completely gone because they choked away the playoffs they can all of a sudden hit again. Sorry, I'm not buying they finally are out of a slump. No, they are a bunch of bitches who fold under the slightest hint of pressure in my eyes and until they prove me otherwise my opinion will stay as is. I called this shit a few weeks ago, I said as soon as we are basically out of the chase and almost no shot of getting into the playoffs then this "offense" will start playing like they are paid to.
I so much prefer watching our offense click but I'm not buying the kool aid that they have turned it around. They will fold as soon as they are under pressure next year. I really hope I'm wrong.
Just got off work and saw the Box Score. My niggas we can do this. Love Kershaw. Dude is a beast 24/7. Should be repeating his triple crown tbh St louis won so fuck dat
They were pressing and Colletti went into the clubhouse after the last loss, said something and here we go scoring runs-a-plenty and winning 3 straight. Was it something Colletti said? Maybe the relief of being "out of it" got some of them to stop trying to win the game every AB. Maybe it was AGon starting to hit regularly, maybe when Kemp went 4-5. Something changed their mindset. Just enjoy it and believe that this is more like the team truly is. Let's hope pressure doesn't bring on the 1-2 runs per game shit again.
2012 will be remembered by me as the year we didn't make the playoffs... But Clayton Kershaw pitched his ass off with a fucked hip in a game that still theoretically mattered at the arse end of the season. Absolutely amazing performance.
Two wonderful things, for me at least ,last night....the simply kick-ass turn by CK, returning to what his career path will be> The best LH in BB, if not best pitcher in the game. Bravo. And to Bobby Abreu, compleanos... who made me smile from ear to ear when he did exactly what I said to myself he would do when he hit that gargantuan HR off Harris. There was no reason at all to buzz him, and it's as if Bobby knew he was gonna clock him before the AB was over. The slo-o-o-w trot around the bases was classic old time baseball, and that meat scumbag Harris will remember that one all of his days. Worthy of another year as PH. BDK has a really valid point in the fact that it is very pussy to come alive now, and to have run and hid like wimps when we really needed it. Like was said, it is what it is. You can't deny the truth. It does feel good to score 8, al beit too little too late. The team showed what it can do when clicking, and also has showed everyone what a complete miserable failure they can be , too. sad. There seems to be enough on this team, that even when two of the 4 shut down, (like last night Kemp and Hanley), the other 2 can be enough. When Dre and Hanley shut down, like the other games in SD, then Kemp and Agon can be enough. With the Dodgers though, it is unreasonable to expect all cylinders to be firing at proper timing. No way. And why is it there is no broadcast today....you come this far with a team, and it's not on TV with 5 games left ? Typical.
maybe he made a deal with the players win out, and I'll resign as GM yeah that was awesome best way to answer being buzzed and that shot was a fucken bomb
Kemp hitting the ball is pretty fun. Here comes Hanley look at fastballs down the middle and swing at sliders 5 feet off the plate Ramirez. Hanley is just a guesser right now.
