    @kirkmorrison: Vin Scully "Don't let a team who will finish last in the standings this year take you out your game.

    This is my sentiment. Hit Quentin or whatever but don't let this be a huge thing for an extended period of time.

    Just googled and saw that the recovery time is between 2-6 weeks for a broken collarbone.

    This is fucking terrible. Leaves me saying "why us?" First a BS injury to Hanley, now to Greinke. Not the end of the world, but this shit pisses you the fuck off.

    We're just gonna have to start hitting. 2nd best staff in the game last year w/o Greinke. But this still fucking blows.

    Yea. For now, we gotta just cross our fingers and hopes it closer to 2-3 than 6. Most of the 6 week cases i've heard about among pro athletes have been football players (Ryan Mathews, Charles Woodson and Marques Colston come to mind), I don't know if they have to take more time to build strength in the surrounding muscles again because of the collisions they deal with or not though.
