I agree that is awesome. It says that everyone on our team wants to be here. Let it shake out the way it supposed. If Bills is indeed DL'd, I have to think Capuano is the lead candidate. Lilly as a LH swingman would be great if he is healthy. He is a guy who can eat some innings.

Love Lilly. Only concern is the HRs. Question: Does Lilly typically give up HR the second-third time through the order? Cuz if we can count on him to face 9 batters here and there without balls flying halfway up the pavilion ...damn good asset. I hate Elbert...punk can't even get lefties out.

TrueBlueLA told me that I was "wrong" for saying that Elbert is horrible...

Going off 2011, he gave up 13 HRs from the 1st-3rd innings (a total of 99 IP) and another 13 in 4-6 which was in 83 IP. [He was really shitty in the 6th inning]

He did only allow a .613 OPS vs lefties. He could be useful as a LOOGY, but I just feel like his arm would die.

Probably cause he's had a 2.43 ERA and then 2.20 ERA the past two years haha.

He didn't get lefties out last year but in 2011 lefties had a .517 OPS against him, so it might be that 2012 was an outlier case cause his stuff is pretty typical of a LOOGY (Three quarter delivery fastball w/ a hard slider)

I don't like Elbert much and he's a walking DL stint, but he is by no means a horrible pitcher.

    ^Impressive. I know it's next year but......

    1. Robinson Cano. Cano is the clear number one choice, a corner type bat at a middle infield position. 2014 will be his age 31 season, and agent Scott Boras is surely licking his chops with an eight-year megacontract in the $200MM range within his sights. Should the Yankees allow Cano to reach the open market, I expect the Dodgers to be players.

Borass is his agent, I am 99.5% positive he'll test it.
