    you've got capitalism half right
    The satellite companies don't have to pay for anything that doesn't benefit their own business just because TWC payed entirely too much for the rights to Dodgers games. In fact, it's potentially in their favor to watch TWC go broke paying 8 billion dollars without the viewership to support it.

    I saw today that Directv is raising the price of the regional sports network fee WITHOUT an agreement with TWC?? This is either the biggest crock of shit or a deal is on the way???

    I'm paying 93 a month for BASIC directv, no HBO, showtime, etc... But hey directv got back the weather channel today, whoopdi doo.

    Just got the trial for hulu plus to go with Netflix, going to see how much of a pain in the ass it will be to watch the games via illegal online stream.

    DirecTV ain't cheap that's why I say fuck those ckunts. They need to get this deal done. I don't care what TWC wants. They should pay them and hand out coupons to customers for free blow jibbers.

    Just canceled Directv, with the attitude I got from the "hey don't cancel us bro" guy needless to say I won't be back even after they get the channel. Dude was just rude as hell. I actually at one point said you don't have to be rude and for the first time in my life I asked to speak to his supervisor.

    I told him "I'm not gay or lesbian but we have gay and lesbian channels that I pay for and don't watch, half of the channels in my line up I don't watch."

    Maybe that's what set him off.

    I made sure to tell them the reason I was canceling was because they aren't carrying the Dodgers channel.

    I've noticed that the outrage isn't as great for fios customers as it was the lakers. Gives me little hope since i reupped for 2 more years recently.
