    Dodgers extend Muncy for 2023 for $13.5M, with a $10M club option for 2024 that would include a $4M bonus based on plate appearances. Seems pretty team friendly, no?

    the little i've watched the umps appear to be doing their best to keep games competitive
    i think the first batter i watched had 2 straight way outside pitches called strikes
    almost reminded be of the mlb but yeah these guys aren't even trying to hide it
    so much for fair competition in the age of equity

    Giants just lost again, they can't get over .500, and it still perplexes me how they won 107 games last year. That was a fluke of epic proportions - of every marginal player seemingly having career years. I can't help but still wonder what if? What if Davey's stupidity cost us one less loss on the year? What if Kenley had been more consistent? What if that check swing call on Ruf in July wasn't blown? Would Scherzer's arm have been more rested if not having to play the WC game against StL? Would it have been enough to get us past ATL?

    Yeah, I need to let it go. But just seeing how truly mediocre the Gnats are now makes it difficult to do so.

    I agree with your first sentence - best thing that could happen to Dodgers fans was McCourt selling, so we can definitely relate. Second sentence - I assume you're hoping that would cause the new ownership to trade Ohtani to us, but keep in mind, Cardinals, Mets, and Yankees would also have a good shot at him. Framed like that, I'd rather he stay in Anaheim.
