Should have been Mookie, who represents the LA Dodgers perfectly.

Watching him trot out infield ground balls makes me sick.

That act as opposed to Kershaw who took his beating like a man.

I think this, if not written as a potential nightmare scenario, is the last straw for me.
As Mookie Betts so aptly reflects the Dodgers, and Dave Roberts similarly the USA under Biden, this old man has had it.

btw, if davey had one 3 or 4 we'd be talking about him as one of the best Dodger managers ever wouldn't we?
he'd certainly be getting a lot of credit
why can't we call him what he is then...a guy that just can't get it done
if his position is so meaningless that its all on the guys then he deserves no mention should they win
how many chances should he get 12, 15, 20?

    FUCK dAVEY FOR LIFE!

“Dodgers first-base coach Clayton McCullough is considered a top candidate for a managerial position this offseason. He interviewed with the New York Mets for the job that eventually went to Buck Showalter and finished as the runner-up to Matt Quatraro for the Royals job last offseason. He spent several years as a manager in Toronto’s minor-league system before serving as the minor-league field coordinator with the Dodgers. He has earned praise for his work with younger players.”
    The Athletic

guaranteed he’s dying to get out from under roberts
no future here, gee… think he might want to move on to lead a team that could possibly advance in the postseason?

he's the wrong color for the Dodgers anyway

Mets can't knock us out because it will be either the Giants or Rockies first.

look at that kid Carter getting it done for Texas
remember last year we had a red hot kid named Outman and left him off the roster for gallo
he probably wasn't available for the Rangers

What a start by Montgomery. Can't believe Texas chose him over a stud like Lance Lynn.

I wasted so much energy rooting for him to be the MVP winner over Acuna which naturally he choked away in September.

It sucks, but I'll have a hard time ever getting excited again about what he does in the regular season. Heck of a ball player in the regular season but he's killed us in 3 straight postseasons. It's just kind of who he is....if you're relying on Mookie Betts to win a title, you aren't winning shit

People don't realize that he was a below average hitter in the 2018 postseason run with Boston but was carried by his teammates

My theory on Mookie, given not only the actual absence of getting hits in the post season, observing his personal behaviour (which is a 180° turnaround) from the big shit eating grin and the joyful LeBron James boy scout salutes of the regular season, is that he is a person of special needs.
Or looney tunes might be another way to say it.

I worried about Smith in the post as being a glaring weak spot in the powerful juggernaut 900 run lineup...and as it turned out, he was the only one who did hitt.

“Ideally, I would love to have one clear answer [about our postseason failures] so you can remedy it. I think the facts are we didn’t get good starting pitching out of the gate. We didn’t catch a lead in the entire series. And the bats, we just didn’t hit.”
    — Dodgers’ Manager Dave Roberts via MLB Network Radio

    what’s that saying?
paraphrasing… “if you can’t find the problem, then it’s probably you”
might be time to look in the mirror doc
or as kilgore trout would say, a leak <- obscure vonnegut reference

    me either
for houston to lose and the home team to have to sit back and watch a real manager take his team to the WS
think the Phils win it though

yeah but his shortcomings are barely mentioned by anyone, in fact his name kept coming up for manager of the year!
never fails to blame everyone but himself, and why not?
probably in discussions w an extension for the scarecrow right now
    definitely not his fault
