    If they resigned Darvish, then Maeda and Ryu are probably on their ways out the door, so not likely to help at all. Kershaw, Wood, Hill, McCarthy, Kazmir, Stewart. Oaks and Buehler already next year(as are Ryu & Marda) with Santana and White knocking on the door later in the year.

    To look at our rotation now vs where it was before the deadline last year is amazing. Added Hill/Darvish and watched Wood show tremendous improvement. Our rotation was looking like Kershaw-Maeda-Kazmir-Urias-Stripling before the Hill trade last year.

    Playoff rotation last year: Kershaw-Hill-Maeda-Urias
    Projected playoff rotation this year: Kershaw-Darvish-Wood-Hill

    So much better.

    Look, Kershaw has back issues. Hill is one stupid blister away from the DL. Wood, I believe has limited to no post season experience. McCarthy, Ryu, Maeda....they are what they are.

    I am more than happy we have Darvish for what we gave up.

    So basic opinions around the league are this:
    Darvish-Calhoun, Alexy, Davis... Good for both teams, Dodgers paid a high price, but the top prospect they gave up does not fit so it works. Two A ball guys with high ceilings, but that is where you want those pieces coming from. Darvish obviously gives club a potential 4 headed monster for the PO's.
    Watson-Cruz, German... This is being viewed by people that know the system and are aware of Watson's struggles as a bit of an overpay. Not likely to be detrimental, but if Watson can't improve and Cruz turns into the beast that some project, this could hurt in a couple years. As of now, Watson still has the stuff to be a high upside LOOGY and Cruz has only shown brief glimpses of becoming a big time prospect. Watson is a FA at the end of the season.
    Cingrani- SVS, Clementina: FUCK OFF SVS, YAY!!!! The org thinks he will benefit under some different sequencing, getting out of Cincy should help. Basically though, this is a big "meh" move for now and he is under control for a couple more seasons.
