I can't see the games...haven't been able to in a couple of weeks. Sounds a bit alarming. Just a tad.
But if Yamamoto has a pitch tipping issue, that's on the FO.
Another guy had a tipping issue, but he was so good, it didn't matter, as Hank Aaron told us.
And there's only one Sandy Koufax.
It's just amazing how the team looked and the potential juggernaut it presented defensively... and in a short while, the ss is now a 180 lb. superstar who will be worn out in September... imo, prompting a repeat doldrum in post season once again. Then, if Yama truly is signaling what's coming it will render him at best, mediocre.
Inevitably, sounds like there's a lot of work to do...a lot.
    Really a lot.

Gave up eight hits, but struck out seven in 4.2 innings. Strange.

I would say those numbers support the theory of somebody with electric stuff tipping his pitches. Either they get a hit because they know what's coming, or the pitch has so much movement that they still can't hit it.

But I'd have to wonder why/how he could possibly still be tipping if this was a publicly known issue after his first start. Wouldn't he/they have fixed it by now?

So can we trust the spring results much for our hitters. Love to think so. After slow start smith is at 280…. Only other starter under 350 I think is Heyward at 240. Max only got 14 at bats so not much there rest over 25. About 6 plus games worth. It would be nice it’d they started that hot going to face some tough starters in Korea…. though Musgrove has struggled this spring over 11 era. Didnt see numbers for their other atarter

been thinking the price for Zack Grienke has to be pretty low at this point
there's been some bp injury issues and how much worse could he be than an injured retread?
could also make a spot start here and there idk but i'd guess he's gotta be into the idea
maybe get a shot at the elusive ring...until davey seizes defeat from the jaws of victory anyway

The other starter is Darvish who has taken it upon himself to sway the entire nation of Japan into rooting for the Padres this year. Not to mention that he always seems to pitch the Dodgers tough. Will be tough no doubt.

Yeah, you can pretty much throw those numbers out. ST rarely is a good indication of how someone will play once the real games start.

Honestly, this is why DSP fails to gain traction.

I wonder how many times in his career Joe Kelly has hit a batter and then got the next guy to GIDP? Something tells me that it's at a lot higher rate than most pitchers.

Love that Boras is eating a shit sandwich, but wish the Chinless Fuck would have landed anywhere but the NL West. Tired of watching him shove it up the Dodgers' asses.

I wonder how many west coast fans watching….
Typical Dodger game. Game tied right now 1-1. Padres 1-1 RISP. Dodgers 0-5. oddly Betts stole second in first…. Umps sent him back to first no reason given guess they called foul tip but replay showed bat not even close to baseball which was a strike called…. Darvish pulled from game high oitxh count after giving up tying sac fly
