Usually a stream is maybe a strike or two behind. I was watching and then went to put in gas. Listened to the radio and came back to finish the game. Was a whole two outs behind.
Some life shown last night...a little more consistency in the lineup, and maybe we can beat teams other than the SFags and the A's. Some of the BA up and down the lineup right now, are alarmingly low, as pointed out last night. Puig batting where he is is a bit of a mystery, imo. I get holding down the spot until JT returns, but considering the hitting problems, why not try another? Dave makes 162 different lineups previously, now it's written in stone.
Part of me feels like we should feel fortunate being 4-6 with essentially every hitter in the lineup underperforming and Kenley blowing two games early. Part of me is also worried that Taylor and Puig just had career years and Seager is hurt.
Good news is they won. Bad news is they were shut out for three innings by the HOF duo of Coulombe and Hatcher.
He dealt with a bout of food poisoning over the weekend and it fucked up his regime. Had to move his start back a few days to accommodate.
If I’m reading the stats correctly, Kemp, Utley, and Grandal have the best batting averages thus far.
Edit: doesn't look too bad to me. Yankees only averaging 37k per game right now so of attendance I'd down, it's likely league wide. We will see in the summer months.
