    i know it could never happen but it would send a message to just out right cut a guy like league and bring up any arm from the minors. he not only sucks he looks like he's not ready to go to work. was he up late in a so fla bar or something?

    That lineup actually looks pretty dumb when I consider Gordon's OBP compared to Mark Ellis's OBP. I don't know, I hate our offense and there are so many holes in the lineup. Nothing looks that good on paper

    Blanton had some shitty luck but you deserve to lose games when you don't capitalize on two bases loaded situations in the first and second innings.

    The game turned when we had the bases loaded and Kemp was up and the ump called a BS strike on a 3-0, which should've walked in a run. Fuck umps. Strike zones need to become electronic ASAP.

    No offense to Kemp. He's allowed to fail too. But that strike call wasn't horrendous. It was just an undeserving borderline call in Nolasco's favor. That made the count 3-1. He got a pitch right down the middle to hit after that and then swung at a disgusting ball 4. Kevin Kennedy said it well. That wasn't even a slider that started over the plate and broke late. That was just a horrible pitch that Kemp swung at. Started way off the plate and broke to the point where the catcher almost had to dive to catch it. Kemp can't let one borderline call be the excuse for a horrendous end to the AB.

    Kemp deserves some slack, but not an excuse. Jmo.

    I see what you're saying. But that was a situation where he just didn't get it done.

    Mattingly needs to start getting some blame for the Loney/Rivera platoon. Where they hit, and better yet, why they fucking play lies with him. Fucking stubborn Torre clone prick. Bite the bullet, be a man and either sit them or hit them in the pitchers spot and make them bunt.

    I think doing something like that would be epic and hilarious for us, but tear the team apart. DHing for Loney in an AL game would've been hilarious, but Don just can't do stuff like this.
