    Wow...Kemp had the " clubhouse cancer" yolk around his neck, as everyone wrote. And when he was traded, it was all I told ya so, pretty much universally...a good thing, most all felt.
    What now though? Seems this latest shit about Puig, Andy/Scott? Van Slyke, Kershaw is way over the top and exceeds any bad mojo Kemp committed...it all seemed nondescrpt anyway. But this shit is very specific and without any conjecture...it's all laid out for us; and probably a never before handled players/superstars/multi millionaires manager stepping up to the plate. Unless there is a really big surprise coming...
    I wonder, considering all this and the bright light of aspersions that could be cast on quite a few individuals, along with the usual dead shit season results that are so LAD...have we made any progress at all ?

    The payroll isn't dropping 100 million in one offseason.

    Agree in part, the payroll won't drop to 200 mill overnight, it will be a process. FA's will be signed, just not en masse.

    Shocker, interest in the best pitcher on the market not named Greinke or Price (my preference to him over Cueto is simply based on recent health).

    I wouldn't be at all upset if Zimmerman and Carrasco/Miller/controllable young upper mid-rotation arm was what they came out of the off-season with.

    I don't mind Zimmermann at all. He's pretty damn good. I don't think that would eliminate them from the Greinke sweepstakes either.

    I honestly think it would eliminate us. I dont see us going nine figures for two starters. Also, I would put money on Greinke and Price being the first two sign.
