It's cool. Great minds think alike.

I know if I was the Braves I would much rather have Nolasco tonight and Kershaw in a Game 5 at home. You never want to face Kershaw, but you'd much rather do it at home in a one-game playoff.

Not so sure this is a good move. Just think that Nolasco "has enough" to get the job done. Never mind what he's done in the last 2-3 weeks, this is the playoffs. This team has found a way to come back since late in the 1st half of the season, and the bats are "swinging" well right now. Not to mention that the post season Dodgers are all stepping up.....and I find that quite refreshing. But WTF do I know compared to DBB.....

which is why he'd be more valuable in a one game elimination on the road instead of tonight

The thing is, the Braves shouldn't have won Game 2 but they did. They got double plays, 2-out RBI's, they were allowed to block 2B like a catcher blocks the plate... their crowd was going nuts and their players actually think they deserved to win even though the were outplayed in almost all aspects of that game.

Lightening never strikes the same place twice, but why tempt it. Go for the jugular and end this.

There will be no one-game elimination on the road.

Implying that Nolasco couldn't have won against Freddy fucking Garcia?

I suppose we should give Hanley, CC, Puig, and AJ some rest too. Run out a Sunday lineup and see if it works. Why not?

I honestly don't remember the last time I was wrong. You're in good hands, Irish.

My bad for mis-wording my original post.

Tbh, I'd rather have Kershaw on 2, 3, 4, or 5+ days over Nolasco. We have a chance to clinch this at home and going back to Atlanta would suck big time. Just hoping the offense does their thing against Garcia so Kershaw doesn't have to make 100+ pitches.

I do. It was when you made that thread about the Dodgers never losing again. Hopefully you can end your losing streak tonight. ;)

    :jedi:

It's an extreme example, but it's not completely different. You're saying pitch Nolasco, because Nolasco is "good enough". I'm saying put your best out there every game because winters are long enough without wondering "what if?"
