    Ok a bit more context:

Frasso, a fourth-rounder in 2020, was the Jays’ No. 13 prospect on Baseball America’s summer rankings. He boasts an outstanding 0.74 ERA with a 41.6% strikeout rate and 7.3% walk rate in 36 2/3 innings split across two Class-A levels. The former Loyola Marymount right-hander has primarily faced younger competition thus far, so he’s not yet tested against more advanced hitters, but it’s an impressive stat line nevertheless. Frasso had Tommy John surgery in 2021 and has thusly had his workloads limited in his return effort, but the 6’5″ righty has reached triple digits with his heater and gives the Dodgers a power arm to dream on.

There’s little in the way of public info on Brito, a 20-year-old righty who’s just 12 games into his first professional season. He’s slightly older than his average competition in the Dominican Summer League, but his 1.86 ERA and gaudy 32-to-1 K/BB ratio through 29 innings of work stand out.

I know"didn't deserve it" doesn't mean shit in the bb business...but Mitch White didn't deserve it.
And, I don't get the business side of moving this gutsy pitcher either. What's the upside of this move ?
    Andy shit the bed today.
You can smell it all over.

I find it hard to believe that the Nats liked the Pads haul over Dodgers unless "offered top prospects" meant that guys like Cartaya and Miller were not offered. Also thinking about it, last years trade with the Nats may not be viewed as a + for the Nats. Keibert is hitting 245 with 3hr and Grey has a 4.59 era with a 1.28 whip....not exactly amazing returns

Honestly, I would've been fine with no moves today. On the surface, each of them looks like a net negative. Just hope they know something we don't.

I'll take the Dodgers' front office judgement over any prospect rankings.

so i'm guessing the guys we more or less dumped were guys we'd given up on and JT is going on the IL
i'll get over it cause what fucking choice do i have but i think White has a decent career and Lamb>Gallo every time
Lamb was a guy getting hits and sustaining rallies in recent weeks
i wasn't looking for a huge haul at the deadline since the team was playing so well but just subtracting two contributors seems wrong
maybe there was personality stuff behind the scenes but i sort of doubt that
i know White wanted to pitch in the show that's for sure
dude's last performance was solid as any of his this year and he got dumped back down in a roster move or maybe he said something to the wrong guy
feel like we tossed out two competitors

yeah Lamb > Gallo but Outman might be better than both. As for White they might like Pepiot over him or it might be a Miller call up. Also remember White is out of options so next year he has to stick with the major league team. If the team was not high on him then he would certainly get yanked in next years rule 5. MGT might have just decided to get something for him now.

neither Lamb or Gallo move any needle, so it's whatever. Neither one should be taking at bats away from Outman or Thompson for that matter if they keep doing what they are doing. Miller definitely isn't ready yet, but I believe May is at most 2 weeks out.

i'm fine w sending Max back out daily and he's definitely swing the bat better
gotta hope Lody comes around somewhat and would love to see him bunting more but he's elite d in CF and w the rest of this lineup under the radar
kimbrel is just getting the ball and hoping for the best w Treinen looming imo

Kenley is better and has been better this season and will still definitely close. They just dumped Will Smith, so he's replacing him. But hey, it could make Kenley extra available this off-season...
