you wouldn't even ask Kersh and Ellis about their plan going forward? i'm not saying go out there and yank him..i'm saying go out there and ask the right questions and be of help and not just a yes man. i think everybody else out there on that diamond deserve to know wtf is goin on during a collapse when they've worked hard to put runs on the board. Mattingly doesn't mean business..his mode is on " ass pat " 24/7.

stealing signs is part of game. i can't even blame them. 2 of our biggest weaknesses are manager and catcher..take those signs at will. and they got to our 3rd weakness too..the bullpen.

DBB has won the DOTD plenty in his dodger tenure but again I can't place this on him. And what is it you wanted him to talk about with the infield? It was pretty simple.....get out of the inning.

And yes stealing signs is part of the game but so is bunting to break up a no hitter, stealing bases no matter what the score is, etc etc. stupid of the players to allow it to happen but I'm pretty sure if we did it to them they would have made a huge deal about it. They are a team that works against the code but when it's worked against them they don't like it. That's was my point in that regard.

nah. when hit after hit and run after run are being plated in Game 1 of a series against a team that's had the guy's number, it's fair to go up there and ask questions about the plan. it's more than fair actually..it'd be smart.

the examples that you gave have nothing to do with strategy and competitiveness. of course they don't like when teams still their signs..nobody should like it, but it's competition. nobody out there gives a shit what anybody else likes.
