The scarecrow GIF is great - mucho thanks to Mrs huh? - but IMO the pic in the previous post would've been more appropriate.
agreed! and this team is going have davey for a long time going forward cause now they can blame it on injuries!
FUCK YOU FRIEDMAN, EITHER SEND THE SCARECROW PACKING, OR RESIGN AND LET SOMEONE WITH A SET OF BALLS TAKE YOUR JOB! And in the words of the incomprable irish, hell yeah I've been drinking.
latest from the asshat yeah, definitely assign blame but take zero accountability “If you look back at this two-week stretch, there’s a lot of things we’re not doing well,” Roberts said. “We’re not playing clean baseball, fundamental baseball. I think it’s going back to, not just trying to win, but focus on the little things: catching the baseball, minimize walks, throwing to the right base, not getting thrown out on the bases. Executing a pickoff play – those are the things that are coming back to haunt us. Typically we’re much better at that.”
Scarecrow has to be the worst manager in the league in reading his pitcher and the need to pull him. I didn't watch today - listened to the radio feed while I was working in the yard. Just based on how Steiner and Monday were calling the action, I knew Miller was done about three batters before Scarecrow did. I mean, when he loaded the bases with no outs I'd have had Almonte up. Monday said that all his pitches that inning were either missing badly or right down the middle. How does it take the manager seven batters with no outs to see that? Actually glad I wasn't watching. I'm sure they showed Scarecrow a couple times that inning and he just had that braindead look on his face. You know the one.
how is this fucken idiot even employed? Dave Roberts has been doing a decent amount of misspeaking this season. A few weeks back, when Max Muncy got hurt, Roberts said that his slugger suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain. If that was the case, he would’ve been out over a month. Instead, Muncy clarified that he had suffered a much more minor issue, and Roberts apologized for the mistake. This week, another incorrect injury take has come from Roberts. On Wednesday, Roberts said that RHP Dustin May — who’s currently rehabbing his flexor pronatar strain — started playing catch for the first time after his PRP injection. However, on Thursday, Roberts clarified that he misspoke. He said May had not started playing catch, and is still rehabbing his injury six weeks after the injection.
On this day it's important we recognize the opportunities available to everyone in this great country. If ever it was more evident, we just need to look at the Dodgers manager as a representation of the diversity in peoples that can achieve their dreams. In this case, at least threes groups are represented. Yes, he serves as everyday inspiration to blacks, Asians, and mentally challenged people across the land. Isn't America great?
so dodgersnation titled this a kershaw update from roberts talk about speaking and saying nothing kamala would be proud “I think every day has been better,” Roberts said of Kershaw, who has not pitched since June 27 in Colorado due to a sore shoulder. “From what I saw (in Kershaw’s flat-ground throwing session), it looks good. And he’ll just take his break. And we’ll see what we do from there.”
amazing that this idiot even has a job. Roberts says he’s noticed a spark at the plate when Mookie has been playing in the infield: “Mookie likes being on the dirt. It keeps him fresh, it keeps him involved, it keeps him more dynamic, I think, and that certainly could unlock some things. You’ve got to take note and see what’s happening there.” Upon hearing this, Mookie strongly disagreed: “I won an MVP in right field. So, that’s my argument to that. It doesn’t really matter where I play, the box is the box and defense is defense, they’re two separate things and I keep them that way.”
this encourages me that maybe, just maybe, the guys are finally getting tired of his shit look at Texas and Bochy glad handing butt slapping stats only yes men suck
Hear! Hear! You deserve a butt slap for that observation... What I wouldn't give for just one Dodger season with a bona fide old school manager
