His name is Arroyo. Should be interesting with two "returned from sick bay" starters and a human Clayton. Hill has a whole lot of shit to prove, imo...after all the "LA has so many starters, they need a seven man rotation"everywhere, I sure hope he has put the blister bull behind him, although I don't see how. The resurgence of Maeda, Wood and hopefully McCarthy, Hill joining in to do what he was paid handsomely for, along with stalwart Clayton, showing up once every fifth day is the way to winning the NLW. Imo. A solid, set rotation. Is it possible? I don't really know where Ryu fits now, after that debacle...and Julio is, I imagine the best spell for the genteel Maeda from time to time. Although, I don't believe the traditional rotation is the plan for the team, and we'll see a new form of it...successful or not. As for the pen I don't see Romo and Hatcher as guys who you can depend on, not by a long shot. Romo has quickly become our new Wilson, an ex-Giant rp who stinks up the place more each time he goes out there. You have to be able to use your bp pieces whenever or wherever you need them...if you can't, and they let you down consistantly, they are useless.
"Homofuck Sodomites of Buttfuck City" Umm buddy you might want to release a bit of pressure from your grip and lengthen your stroke or you'll never make it through the game.
Gotta win 2 out of 3 against these shits. I'm already tired of playing the Giants and Rockies. Feels like it's the only teams we've played.
We should activate Ethier just for this game. I think even with a bad back he could go 2 for 3 with a double off Cain
It feels like that because they nearly are the only teams we've played... Including the upcoming SF series we will have played 19 games (out of 41 total) vs COL + SF. That's 46% of our games. 14 of those 19 games are on the road. 16 of those games have been in a 26 games stretch, so 62% of our games for the past month.
Okay so it didn't just feel that way, it actually is true. It makes the season feel a bit boring to start when you're playing the same teams often.
The good news is that after this series in SF, we only go back to COL and SF one more time the rest of the year. But they have to come to Dodger Stadium 2 more times each.
i miss the days of the balanced schedule send colorado to the al and pull the plug on interleague play
Fuck...two hilarious dead guys... Lotta laughs from these two dudes over the years. Original and classic talents.
Twas my nickname at church while I was growing up. We had large fields at the church. And lots of skirts to chase.
