They always have our number, and nothing has changed, no matter what label is put on them, or come to think of it, us. It feels good to call them one of the worst teams in bb, and scrubs, etc., because simply, they are the fucking scumbag Giants. But imo whatever the numbers say right now, they are no more the worst team in bb, than we are the best. And listening to Davis say that even if they go on a big winning streak, the 9 games they are out is too much to overcome, I have to wonder why? It's May, and weren't we out about that last year when we streaked? I think tonight with Poor Mound on the hill (!), it will portend things to come on what we can expect reasonably from him in the near future, at least. And I also believe putting a different team on the field every fucking night, whether it's under orders or Dave himself, is absolutely hurting the team. Just because the rotation is handled the way it is, along with the depth lineups and this hack or beat writer thinks it's " the new way" because Friedman, et al, did it, doesn't mean it is failure proof or a newly miraculous revelation. I'll pray to them and make the necessary novenas when it all results in the long over due WS win. Oh, and btw, was McCarthy's DL stint the clever manipulation of the new 10 day rule, or was it a genuinely legit thing? Seriously this team has to be the most inconsistent team ever. So much talent but no back bone. These guys are Capitol SOFT........ They really need to shake this team up to be more consistent and truly stop experimenting so much. I like DR, but you just have to roll out the same guys out everyday. Just thinking about that very same thing...and when he was no problem for us, he was a damn good pitcher. Now he is a mere shadow of his former self, and we completely suck against him. There is no team, if we go to the post and should have to face, or actually have play to get to the post that worries me more than the Giants. None. We roll over for this team year after year, and 20 different lineups and all the putdowns about how they blow against everybody else in bb means nothing. They're the '27 Yankees against us.
Yeah it is kinda funny that I think I'd rather face the Cubs in the playoffs than the Giants. I'm tired of playing them already. Honestly the games just haven't been fun against them
