^ cueto and wood are now both out giants said each tested positive for covid, but it’s san francisco so it’s probably something else…
They're saying two out of three will be pen games. Not sure I wouldn't want to face Cueto instead. SF pen has been pretty effective.
Good point, but if I'm remembering right, Cueto shut us down last time. Hopefully MIL gets into their pen early today and makes them work, and we continue that tomorrow against DeScalfini.
I wish Kershaw (or to a lesser extent, Gonsolin) was able to come back a week earlier, for this series. That Price start scares me.
hoping for a 28 inning game where every pitcher is used and every position (homo) player has to pitch and while i’ll never wish an injury on anyone, i hope their entire team suffers from glory hole fatigue
meanwhile roberts believes bellinger has been the victim of bad luck https://www.dodgersnation.com/dodge...ger-has-been-a-victim-of-bad-luck/2021/09/01/
Most hated Giants of all time in no particular order........ Marichal......nuff said B*nds......shit all over the record book with his phony HR numbers and was a prick to boot. Joe Morgan........the HR trot after lighting up the Tub of Goo. Knocked the Dodgers out of the race. Also a prick. Will Clark......Gomer Pyle's bastard grandson. Matt Willams........still butt hurt after the Dodgers knocked them out of race in '93. MadBum.........the Grinch who stole baseball. Wonder if he ever found that one in the ocean? Tito Fuentes.......brought a bat to the Marichal-Roseboro brawl. Wish Frank Howard would have squashed like the cockroach he was. FP Santangelo, Bob Brenly, Kuiper and Krukow........Dodger haters from the broadcast booth. Brian Wilson, Jeff Kent and Sergio Romo.......hated they soiled the Dodger uniform, although Kent was right about "the kids."
honorable mention: jack clark, chris speier, brian johnson plenty of others i'm sure i just don't want to think about those ckunts
For me Bonds is head and shoulders above everyone else as most hated Gnat. It’s not only how he disgraced baseball and the record books, but also how everyone in the Bay Area fawned over him. I lost what little respect I had for any Bay Area sports personality or writer save for maybe Ray Ratto during that whole sordid affair. They still talk about him in reverent tones. That will forever leave a bad taste in my mouth.
At least Kent played well as a Dodger. Every other former Giants player we signed ended up being a pile of shit.....I still have nightmares about Jason Schmidt.
