Throw was good enough. Smith's inexperience at 1B cost them.

Pitching staff pitches their asses off.
Only to be let down by the offense and defense. Trae Turner defensively, Justin Turners slow ass cost us a run in the top half combined with Will Smiths ineptitude with a runner on third base and less than two outs, he fucked up not once, but twice. He cost us a run and the game each time. Every one but Seager was useless offensively.

 

Someone who is accustomed to 1st base makes that catch while on the bag. Throw sucked but he didn’t get help. Biggest problem tonight was the shit base running and hitting by JT, Smith especially, Taylor, Betts, and like everyone except Seager

even uncle albert had a better chance but he's so fucking stubborn
i mean if you HAVE to play cody then sit CT or Mookie ffs not the hottest hitter on the team

Second time in a week they've let a starting pitcher who they've hammered in the past off the hook. Senzatela last Sunday and DeSclafani last night. Wasted another great effort by the bullpen.

 

You can't beat luck no matter how hard you try. Let's say for the sake of argument, the teams are equal, but when it comes to big time breaks that mean the game, they have got us big time. Leave us in the dust.
Oh, and a guy playing second that can make a pretty standard throw would be good.
Turn routine into a fucking L.
Walking the pitcher is as bush as it gets. Only thing to do now, is win 2.

I'm had posted there is a guy up the block who flies a huger orange SF flag...today as I passed his house, he was obviously waiting for me and came out. We went through the usual neighborly chit chat, I did not call him a slimy cocksucker or anything, me being basically a polite guy...but as I walked away, he called to me and asked me , " "hey, why in the world did Roberts play Bellinger and not Pollack"? I shrugged my shoulders, not wanting to go into a tirade on that subject...and then he said " the best man the Giants have in the game is your manager...ha ha! !
The dog took her dump, and I picked it up and continued walking.
A fitting end to a conversation for an LA fan about that Dodgers/Giants game last night I thought.
