You could probably be pretty safe betting that the Dodgers get maybe one or two hits the rest of the way...and of course, no runs.
The O is done for Saturday night...

It's possible that the Dodgers may have two players, one with the highest, and the other with the lowest BA in the NL.
Keeping with the Jekyl/ Hyde theme.
    The team of 1,000 faces...

I mean really, is MKinney a valid PH ? It's unbelievable the guy is part of the World Champions bench...along with McKinstry ?
The FO can't come up with better than that ?
They don't even get the bat on the ball...

I love watching Trienen pitch (some homo). Takes me back to throwing a wiffle ball in my backyard as a kid.

Attaboy Bazooka! You come in with a five run lead, you need to throw strikes. Well done!

It's one thing to run the bases like a dumbass. It's another to hurt yourself doing it.

Making kindling out of Ruff's bat is better than striking him out.

Yup. Any update on the injury?

I don't understand the awkward slide - you're supposed to learn how to properly slide in little league. But mostly I don't understand trying to steal third with two outs.

Reportedly a hamstring. No idea of the severity.

Shame to lose a hot bat on a stupid play.

Sounds like Pollock is done for a couple of weeks. Grade 2 strain.

    Fuck.

What a performance by Julio. Almost every inning the Giants were threatening and he was able to escape with clutch pitching. The Pollock news really sucks considering his replacement can’t hit off a tee. Hopefully Walker leads us into first place today.

Another bullpen game for the Giants and Dodgers have their ace going.

Still scares the shit out of me.

Julio hung quite a few offspeed pitches but got away with most. Against a better hitting team he might not. Still, he did what was needed. And kudos to our pen, once again.

I really don’t understand how a major league player cannot know how to slide. Or at least we’ll enough to not maim himself. And of course it’s our best hitter. Couldn’t happen to one of redundant scrubs.

Today isn’t a must win, but the difference between leaving San Francisco a game up versus a game down is huge.
