who knows i mean, not sure what purpose calling outman up on the last day of the season served also wouldn’t be surprised if freddie and rojas are more injured than what we’ve been told
Yeah. Pretty much. He's fucked for stretching on low throws at 1B. While it isn't his back foot, lead foot controls first step out of the box ... that's a 3-4 week recovery. Muncy or Taylor at 1B, yes?
giants fire farhan LINK so dude… how’d that move to sf to be the main man work out? and if that weren’t enough, they chose to replace you with a guy with a exactly zero front office experience good thing you got out from under af’s reign with that other team yeah, big fish/gay pond > small fish/hetero ocean lolz you, lolz giants
actually three because if either of them sweeps, the dbags sneak in through the (unintended, but applicable, pun) back door
Someone needs to take a huge dump in that Zona pool ... I'll fly there and do it. Who'll pay my plane fare (and bail)
from espn… What are the scenarios for each team to clinch a playoff spot? 1. The Mets win the first game, the Braves win the second game. The Braves are the No. 5 seed and head to the No. 4 San Diego Padres for a best-of-three wild-card series starting Tuesday. The Mets are the No. 6 seed and play the No. 3 Milwaukee Brewers. Yes, that means the Mets would have gone from Milwaukee on Sunday to Atlanta on Monday, and then back to Milwaukee on Tuesday. (The Braves would have to fly cross-country, but at least they were already in Atlanta.) 2. If the Braves win the first game and the Mets win the second, it's the same result. The Braves are the No. 5 seed and the Mets are the No. 6 seed. 3. The Mets win both games. New York is the No. 5 seed and plays the Padres. The Diamondbacks are the No. 6 seed and play the Brewers in a rematch of last year's wild-card series. The Mets travel from Milwaukee to Atlanta to San Diego. (They won't complain.) 4. The Braves win both games. Atlanta is the No. 5 seed and plays the Padres; the Diamondbacks are the No. 6 seed and play the Brewers. Keep in mind that whichever team wins the first game of the doubleheader clinches a playoff spot. That will provide less incentive -- or, really, no incentive -- for that team to churn through its best relievers in the second game. Not with the first wild-card game on hand for Tuesday.
Wow that must have been an incredible ending. Unfortunately I'm dragging my derelict bro in law around today
Yes, wild ending. That's great for MLB, although not good for either team's top relievers. What's the latest with your bro-in-law? Hopefully no longer driving.
Lol no not yet. At dmv getting him an ID and tracing his wreckage. Seems to be paying attention to the first 2 steps and taking his meds
Dbacks are in a pretty crappy situation, but they kind of blew it down the stretch so they can't blame anyone else. ARI has owned us this year (and last October), so here's hoping the Braves win this one. As they should considering NYM should just be going through the motions, pretending to be giving it their all.
