that's one of the main reasons i never liked valentine he wanted to be the show shameless self-promoter
Agreed. I gotta give it to him there tho. Always cool to see somethin I've never seen before. And he would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for those darn kids.
My preferred order for Game 1 and Game 2 Crawford Kendrick Gonzalez Turner Ethier Seager Grandal Hernandez Nothin too shocking. An order that should probably be shuffled in Game 3 since Kendrick hasn't hit as well on the road...would probably swap the 2 and 6 spots for Game 3 and also put Ellis behind the plate. Grandal gets the nod from me in Game 1 and Game 2...bat be damned, Kershaw's ERA is almost a run better with Grandal behind the dish and Greinke's done most of his work with Grandal this year and has also been better with him behind the dish. The aces need to be aces.
Don't Mattingly is the manager...you really thought there was a possibility of that not being so? The sun rises in the east...sets in the west. And so it shall be for all time.
Really..??...all probably true. But I thought this was one of the flat out funniest things I ever saw in BB.
Ellis is gonna start game 1 and 3 most likely. Right or wrong, I think that's the way it's gonna happen.
I probably wouldn't break up the Kershaw Ellis combination, at least for Game 1. I think you go with the comfort level for Game 1.
Maybe they should win HFA if they want a good start time. I'm glad to see these start times will cater to the home team this time - probably just coincidence but better than fucking 1pm game times on a Wednesday when we are home.
I wish they would just announce Kershaw will pitch Games 1 and 4. I feel like it's "left in the air" every year, and every year we use a 3-man rotation.
Love the start times. Going to be a long wait, but starting tomorrow we get playoff baseball every night.
Exactly how does this suck for Mets fans? Friday is a bit of a late start, but Saturday at 9:07 ET? Prime time, bkitches.
