    Love the positivity blue!
If the Dodgers could only win the next 20 world series in a row without going into a prolonged losing streak we should be alright.
    Keep it going.
DSP is much more pleasurable when we are all on the same page, the Dodgers page.

Not twisted at all. If they can't take care of business in 3 games, then they deserve to come into the NLCS with a disadvantage.

I actually like the 2-Wild Card system because we are seeing how it can really help the team with the best record during the season. It won't always work that way, but the WC system helped us wrap up our series in 3, and that advantage could carry over into our next series.

I’m kinda torn which team I’d rather face. I think on paper the Nats are better, but I can’t underestimate the Dusty Baker effect. He has a knack of screwing things up.

Maddon, on the otherhand, he’s so crazy, some things actually work out.

The future came fast, still coming.
DBags basically got closed out by a bunch of rooks and a new guy last night..Taylor basically a rookie, and then of course Barnes and Belli

Yes. Sign me up for the Darvish/Otani package

He seems like the type of pitcher who should age more gracefully since he has such a large repertoire at his disposal, kinda like Greinke. Unlike Greinke, he is at least coming off of two up and down seasons so he probably is not due for some insane contract, but should be richer than Hill. I wonder if a 4 year 20-22mil a year deal is in the cards or if somebody will have to go 5. He is probably not a front line starter for more than 2-3 years, but should be a 3-4 thru is mid 30's. The Urias injury has probably put a bit of a question mark going forward with this franchise, but at least they have what looks like most of the positions locked up for a while and all at below market value. They can afford to splurge on pitching and worry about the position players when they start getting more expensive in 3 years.

Nationals cubs game gets postponed, that’s fantastic for LA. Hoping it goes to game 5 so then their game 4 and 5 pitchers won’t be available til game 3 and 4

think about joc's career trajectorydownward spiral
from phenom and hr derby star...
to a guy who was left off the roster in favor of a 35 y/o and a 36 y/o
can't hit lefties -- or righties lol
joc doesn't realize it yet, but he's as good as gone

i hope it's rained out tomorrow and it goes to 5 games...
with a 29-inning marathon in game 5 -- every player used, starters and pen taxed

They had those horses guarding the pool when the D-Bags clinched the wildcard game. Didn’t stop the D-bags from jumping into their own pool.

Frankly, the idea being in a pool with swimming suits watching an indoor baseball game just plain douchey

everything about the dbags is douchey
remember when they forbid fans wearing dodgers swag behind home plate?
from darryl hall, to stewart, to larussa... douches
may be sacrilege, but i hate them more than the giants tbh

i had very little faith in puig (and was wrong)
but i have zero faith in joc
puig -- to his credit -- worked extremely hard (no homo) to become the best hitter he could be
all the props in the world to puig
now he is one of the most disciplined/reliable hitters on the team
    joc is an assclown
from day one he swung out of his ass
it took teams exactly one time through the league to exploit his flaws/weaknesses
whereas puig's mechanics were primarily from his approach
joc would need to completely redo his swing
right now he is a 100% guess hitter

i said this before the season...
i doubted puig will turn it around, but would love to be proven wrong
i will say this, now, about joc...
right now, he has no chance of improving because he has no desire to change
because of his low salary/team control and lack of trade value...
he should be demoted to the minors indefinitely to reconstruct his swing
if -- and it's a big if -- he views that as a wake up call, there's a chance... but it's very remote

I think he will get a shot again.
Dude just needs to break it down and build up his eye and hands then feet and arm position. Then swing work and then after he can take walks again and hit for contact and runs to 1b. Then and only then should he try to hit power shots.

That is how Turner did it and how i kept telling you guys Puig was doing it.
Logan may have been put on the same diet once he came in injured and slumping.

Funny how Puig hit for a much higher average at first, when he wasn't trying. LOL

Props to him as well for turning it around and also realizing he'd be pissing away tens of millions by being a screw up.
