unless haren has an out of body experience
we're probably going to need to score about 5 runs minimum
then again, the hairy bkitch is overdue for a good outing

Tomorrow will be a tough one. Haren blows and Kluber has quietly been one of the best pitchers in baseball this year.

We know he'll give up 2 HRs. Hopefully it is just 2 solo HRs

In a way, Wolfman Dan, the HR Man, gets my sympathy. It's hard to be a no.5 on any team, but with CK, Greinke, Beckett, Ryu all ahead of you, even if you're doing well (like he was earlier), you knda look mediocre. he does groove his 2 HR balls every game now, and needs the team to hit like the last two games, which will not happen consistently.
But if he does get a few, he's got a fighting chance to definitely keep us in the game.
Unless he gives up 5 HRs...then, not so much.

Diablo is Haren's butt buddy? Hmmm...why? Things he's posted in his defense, or you have some tapes or something?
Come to think of it, I want to be Alanna Rizzo's butt buddy, and I don't care who posts about it or knows...

I get the whole "Dan Haren is a number 5", but the FIP is 4.5, he's not striking anyone out, and he's been a replacement level pitcher overall for $10MM.

I know this is way before alla y'all times, (not Tubo), but I pray to the Great Favog to not let Santana destroy us and rake.
Let him suck deeply in this series, Oh Great Favog.

Maybe we should have just used Zach Lee as the 5th starter coming into the season, oh well

Please have a good start, Haren

We've won 3 of his last five starts. How many teams can say that about their #5 guy? What do you want, I mean really?

in spite of what Haren is doing, although I generally agree he's an ok 5th starter

All you expect of your #5 is to keep you in the game long enough to give your team a chance to score enough to win. In games he started the Dodgers are 9-7...I'll take it.
