Well, I guess it had to happen. The 5th inning woes continue.

Bills just isn't going to come through for his team. Get used to it.

I just cannot stand Bills. Like reading the same book every game he pitches. He's an idiot.

Chad Billingsley is a mental midget. He's never going to pitch big for us in a big game, face it.

Bills allowing his typical 3 ER's a game. He's not good. He sucks. Accept that.

The bad part , or sad part, is that we can't touch this cabbage patch kid Cahill now since the HR. Nothing except a little harmless single or two.
This formula of scoring early, then giving it up, is getting a bit tedious. Gotta come back.
We don't rally in this one, tomorrow with this "phenom" up for AZ, doesn't look all that promising.
Started out this series so high, but after CK last night...horrors.

Go to the bullpen before it is 5-2. This mental midget has lost it, again.

I kinda love Bills proving the majority 'bitches' right. We're gonna lose anyways with this offense, so fuck it. I'll bet Bills FIP is great. Too bad runs still score every time regardless. Bills is a joke.

Another Bills start. Another 4 runs are gonna cross the plate.

I should refrain from posting here during the games, or i'll sound like the most negative person ever, but good lord, it is a baseball game Chad, get your fucking head together and quit acting like such a pussy. It isn't life or death out there you mental midget.

I hope to god this is a "heat of the moment oh grand jury save me it's a game thread" post. I'll just ignore the FIP stab at people who read stats.

Anyways, contrary to belief this is always been Bills, this has been a horrible first half and his worst stretch in his career. Hope he fixes it soon, and very soon.

It is, it's 3.51, his K/9 is the highest in his career and he's improved his walk rate significantly this season. What's inflating his ERA is an abnormal HR rate and BABIP. When it regulates his earned run results will be better.

I don't think it has a great amount to do with him being scared or a pussy anymore. I used to. I am convinced he just isn't that good. Having good command of your pitches is a TALENT. He has poor command. Being deceptive is a TALENT. Hitters have no issue with Chad. Being efficient is a TALENT. He's inefficient. Chad was a projected 2 that pitches like a back of the rotation starter. Plain and simple.

Chad, no matter what stat you throw out there...allows, on average, over 4 earned runs to cross the plate when he pitches. That's too much. Imagine if he was a real 2. Imagine if he just didn't have to give up so many runs.Imagine if every time the Dodgers gave him a lead he didn't give it up.

He is a choke artist and one of the most frustrating pitchers to watch.

Delicately, it doesn't matter. I don't care if he's unlucky. Because he's really not. How many blown leads, opposition CRUSHING balls all over the place, etc do we have to see before we say this is Chad? This is him. He's gonna be a guy who gives up an over under of 4 runs per game for the rest of his career. And while I don't want to get rid of him, he is NOT a #2. I don't care who is a 2 or 3 around the league.

No, it's real. Labeling Bills as an unlucky pitcher has gone too far. JUST WATCH THE GAME. WATCH BILLS PITCH. You will see what type of a pitcher he is. It's not a coincidence people have been upset with him since the second half of 09. It is warranted.

Runs crossing the plate is all that matters to me. And he allows to many people from the other team to score.

Doesn't seem like Bills gives up a lot of homers, just seems like the opposing offense strings a bunch of hits off of him at the same time. There was a stat about Cap and Bills giving up the same amount of hits this year. Difference is that Cap's are scattered.

He's been unlucky this season. A 339 BABIP which is over 30 points above his career norm, without a major Lincecum-esque change in line drive percentages is pretty hard to argue with on that front. 8.7 K/9 - 3.1 BB/9, even if you dont want to believe it, are strong signs of progression as a pitcher.
