    Today Lamb is showing why it took so long to call him up. Six LOB already and he didn't even start. We could've had a comfortable lead if he came through even once.

    But the point is, Lux cost the team a lot today. A lot.

    Okay, I get that he didn't make the plays in the first, although it sounds like they were screamers. But I struggle to blame the kid when it's probably not HIS choice to be in the OF. And he was on base four times today... I know at least a couple of those kept rallies going. I'm starting to have a pretty high level of confidence when he's at the plate and we need a hit.

    Second one was a blooper in front of him. He took one step in then waited like 2-3 seconds for the ball to fall maybe 10 feet in front of him

    Am I the only one (admittedly anal about baseball fundamentals) who caught Contreras jogging out a ground ball with the bat in his hands all the way to 1B?

    That's your NL All-Star starter at catcher. Not disputing his credentials, but that's bullshit. Fuck him.

    Look I can't see exit velocities at the stadium but I can't get the image of him standing there 2-3 seconds while the ball fell in front of him out of my head.
